We are delighted you are interested in a Priory education for your child. Choosing the right school is one of the most significant decisions you will make for your child's future. Each child is unique, with their own set of strengths, interests, and learning styles. Finding the ‘best-fit’ school is crucial as it can significantly impact their academic achievement, personal growth, and overall happiness.

APPLYING TO THE PRIORY

The Priory is committed to providing a rewarding educational experience for your child, starting with the admissions process. We are here to guide you through the application process.

THREE EASY STEPS TO APPLY

STEP ONE: SUBMIT AN ONLINE APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION

  • Begin the application process by completing the online application form. Click "APPLY NOW" to get started.

  • Submit a certified copy of your child's birth certificate.

  • Provide your child's most recent report card or school transcript if applying for Grades 1-6. If applying for Kindergarten, submit any evaluation received from a daycare or nursery school. If these documents are not available at the time of application, please arrange to have them forwarded to The Priory.

  • Include a recent passport-sized photo of your child with the application.

  • Include a non-refundable application fee of $50 (cheques payable to The Priory School).

STEP TWO: SUBMIT A CONFIDENTIAL SCHOOL REPORT FORM

Download the appropriate Confidential School Report form.

  • Have your child's current school or daycare teacher complete the form.

  • Ensure the completed form is emailed or mailed directly to The Priory School by the teacher.

STEP THREE: ARRANGE FOR AN INTERVIEW

Once the completed application form and all the required documents have been received, the school will arrange a mutually convenient time for an in-person interview with your child.

  • Interviews with prospective Kindergarten students and their parents begin in November, with initial acceptances going out on December 1st. Parents who would like their child to be included in the first round of acceptances on December 1st should submit their applications no later than October 31st.

  • All other grades are interviewed from January to June, and acceptances are given when there is space available.

  • Each application is thoroughly reviewed and each applicant is given the greatest consideration. Following this, successful applicants are advised of their acceptance in writing. If a place is not available, the applicant will be placed on a waiting list and notified when a place becomes available.

The Priory School does not receive government subsidies; therefore, students are not required to submit a Certificate of Eligibility.
