DRAMA AND THEATRE
At The Priory, our Drama and Theatre program offers students numerous opportunities to perform and develop their talents from an early age. Through class plays, musical productions, and theatrical performances, students present their work to the entire Priory community, fostering a love for the arts and public speaking.
Our comprehensive program is designed to cultivate confidence, creativity, and collaboration among our students. They engage in various aspects of theatre, from acting and singing to set design and stage management. This hands-on experience helps them appreciate the different elements that come together to create a successful performance.
Our inspiring faculty guide students through each step, ensuring they feel prepared and confident on stage. Our supportive environment encourages our students to take risks, express themselves, and discover their unique voices.

THE PRODUCTION OF MATILDA
We are proud of the outstanding performance of "Matilda" by over 30 talented students from Grades 4-6. Our young actors brought the story to life, captivating us with their flair. Special thanks to Ms. Linden Parker and Ms. Zarina Angell for their inspirational guidance, and to Ms. Campbell and our Priory choir for their beautiful renditions of "Naughty," "When I Grow Up," and "Revolting Children." We also thank our dedicated staff and wonderful parents for their invaluable contributions to set design, costumes, makeup, and behind-the-scenes work. Your support enriched our production, allowing our students to shine.
THE TALE OF MULAN
Under the inspiring and dedicated direction of Priory faculty members, the Drama Club performed two shows: one during the day for their fellow students and one in the evening for our ticket holders. The production had all the hallmarks of a Broadway show – curtains, backdrops, strobe lights, props, and a musical score – along with a brilliant Mulan cast and crew of over 40 amazingly talented students! Bravo, Priory, for another masterpiece!
PETER PAN TAKES FLIGHT AT THE PRIORY
After six months of rehearsals, The Priory Drama Club's cast of over 40 students staged a magical production of Peter Pan for a packed audience. The performance featured impressive costumes, superb sets, special effects (including flying scenes!), and the talented acting and singing of Priory students. This journey into Neverland was a brilliant testament to our children's achievements.
THE WIZARD OF OZ
The students brought the World of Oz to life with elaborate costumes, props, and set designs. Under the dedicated direction of three Priory faculty members, the Drama Club performed two shows: one for fellow students and one for parents and relatives. A special feature was the songs adapted by our students. The Drama Club members expressed happiness and gratitude for this wonderful opportunity.
