THE PRIORY PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION (PPA)
The Priory Parents' Association, commonly known as the PPA, is a cornerstone of our Priory School community. Made up of dedicated and enthusiastic parents, the PPA collaborates closely with the Head of School, faculty, staff, and the Board of Directors to foster a vibrant, enriching, and supportive environment for students, parents, and staff alike.
SCHOOL-HOME CONNECTION
At The Priory School, we deeply value the school-home connection and are incredibly proud of and grateful for our dedicated parent volunteers. The Priory Parents' Association meets once a month and welcomes new members with open arms. Priory parents are involved in many ways, including planning the annual Cheers & Chat, organizing the Halloween Party, managing uniform sales in the Potter Boutique, volunteering at Open Houses, assisting with gingerbread house-making in Kindergarten, and hosting the Pasta Family Night, to name just a few.
Our teachers cherish the partnership with parents and welcome their active involvement in various aspects of school life. Parents are encouraged to participate not only within the school but also on field trips and in classroom activities. This collaboration enriches the educational experience, providing students with additional support and diverse perspectives. Whether assisting with lessons, sharing expertise, or chaperoning excursions, parents play an essential role in fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment. Their presence and participation are highly valued, as they help to build a strong, connected, and vibrant school community.
All parents of students at The Priory are valued members of the PPA. Parents are warmly encouraged to attend the monthly meetings, where they can share ideas, stay informed, and connect with other members of the community. Additionally, parents are invited to get involved as class parents or volunteer on an ad-hoc basis for various events throughout the year.
THE PPA STEERING COMMITTEE
The PPA Steering Committee is a vital leadership group within the Priory Parents' Association. Comprised of dedicated parent volunteers, the Steering Committee works closely with the Head of School and other key stakeholders to guide the activities and initiatives of the PPA.
